I much rather write about the community I come from and represent.

Title: Rolling deep
We know what they all say.
Latinos are hard workers.
Latinos are all about family.
It rings in our ear,
Like a paletero’s bell at the park.
And for that, we say thank you.

But let US tell you about US.
Let us give you the truth about our truths.

It’s true that our community is full of hard workers.
We can’t help it.
It’s in our DNA.
But we’re smart workers too.
We do it with grit and wit.
With dedication and imagination.
With street smarts and smart smarts.

It’s true that we craft with our hands
But we also craft with our minds.
Equal parts ganas y ingenio.

It’s true that we do everything for family,
And family is in everything we do.
Forget self-made. It’s WE made.
Mi casa es su casa.
Where there always enough for everyone to eat, plus seconds whether you ask for it or not.
And we'll leave the door open for your friends too.

It’s true that we ride for each other, and we will ride for you too.
Because becoming the majority doesn’t mean there needs to be a minority.
We’ll always roll deep.
